2009 NAVSOG S.A.L COMBAT SHIRT PROTOTYPE by Silent Professional Inc.

Greetings, I have been updating reports on tactical gear from the US side, now lets drag back the time a little and back focus to the PN NAVSOG gear. As everyone knows Philippines is an island country which does not have 4 seasons, they only got the best and worst is the “SUMMER” , the weather usually dived by 2 sections, one is the raining season, and another is their “SUMMER” which is hotter then the usual days in the Philippines.

Meaning the operators in the Philippines has always stands in heavy rain and humid weather, specially the SEALs, they are always in and out of the sea water since their ops are on island to island, so I got the concept idea from the first combat shirt that I made and I added few different modifications and making the prototype combat shirt for the NAVSOG operator. We called it S.A.L.C.S ( SEA. AIR LAND COMBAT SHIRT). The conecpt of making this for the FROG operatpss who always operates in and out the water

There are 3 generations, first Gen was developed with me and a friend “D.K”, lets now take a look into the GEN 1 S.A.L.C.S

S.A.L.C.S

FIRST GEN

“FRONT VIEW”

The first SALCS was build with the OD dry fit material with the ordinary  NAVSOG B.D.A, althought we move the pocket to the arm and as well as we added the invisible type of zipper in the middle of the shirt . enforce the shoulder part, instead of exposing the dry fit material out, we decide to add the shoulder part, it gives the operator the better protection from the vest  and resistance to webbing harness  abrasion, we also keep the collar part to resist gun sling abrasion.

“FRONT SHOULDER REINFORCE PART”

Our reinforce  shoulder part concept: Instead of exposing the dry fit material out, we decide to add the shoulder part, it gives the operator the better protection from the vest  and resistance to webbing harness  abrasion, we also keep the collar part to resist gun sling abrasion.

“BACK SIDE OF THE S.A.L.C.S”

“BACK SHOULDER REINFORCE PART”

We also added the back shoulder reinforce part for resistance heavy against back pack webbing straps.

“SAMPLE PIC WITH THE S.A.LC.S”

GEN 2 COMING SOON~

Cheers

I’d say go with the material that tru-spec uses in their tiger stripe clothes and as far as the shirt you’ve shown is concerned. I’d lose the hook and loop on the brest or change it to be more in with mil-spec. The hook and loop on the sleeves need to change from black to OD and I’d also say be the same size as the ones on the sleeves of the ACU jackets.

      Hi Sir

That is not TRU SPEC. That material is only for NAVSOG not other units around the world.

      Thank you

Bro, I met the Marine Commander at Fort Bonifacio at 2008 and have a short talk and for your info there is a lot of NAVSOG guys looking at this blog and just trying to keep it low and no need to proof who they are and what they can do.
