On March 18th Navy SEAL Adam Brown died from injuries sustained during combat operations in Afghanistan while selflessly protecting the rest of his Team’s lives. Some of us here at Vertx had the honor of knowing and working with Adam, a couple had the privilege to call him friend. Adam is survived by his wife Kelly, daughter Savannah, son Nathan, countless friends, loving family and teammates.

SOC Brown was a highly decorated combat veteran, enlisting in 1998 and serving in the Navy’s elite SEAL special warfare operations team. He is survived by his wife, two children, and his parents, along with a host of other friends and loved ones, and his Brotherhood of SEALs.

I just finished reading the book “Fearless” and the story of Adam and Kelly Brown with their children, left a huge impression on me. Adam, along with his wife, are very unique and amazing individuals who raise the bar very high, for everyone whom they touch, even just through their book (I can’t imagine what it would have been like knowing them in person). They will always be in my prayers now.
